JUNK
Harry C., Jr.
On June 24, 2011 of Williamstown. Formerly of Washington Twp. Age 84. Beloved husband of 61 years to Catherine J. nee McArdle. Devoted father of Thomas R., Judi A. Wren Thomas and Joseph L. Michelle Junk. Loving grandfather of James, Sean, Brandon and Gianna. Dear brother of Beverly Ronk.
Harry proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the Army during WWII and later in life as a volunteer fireman in Washington Twp. He was a loving, gentle, caring spirit who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Harry was an avid Phillies and Flyers fan, and it was rare to see him not wearing a baseball cap! He enjoyed going on cruises with his wife Jean, playing cards and pool with his friends and driving – as a Greyhound bus driver, in a limo for the casinos or around town in his car. Harry also loved to shop, and you could find him at his favorite place, the Amish Market, at least twice a week. Harry saw to it that no one was in need of anything, and he will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. He was a great man whose memory will be cherished and continue to touch many lives in the years to come.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 1:00-2:30 pm at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd. Washington Twp. Funeral service 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
