Harold W. O’Hanlon passed peacefully on October 17, 2022, at the age of 89 with the love and support of his daughter Susan Knoeller, son-in-law James Knoeller; grandchildren James, Jared and Jordyn and dear friend Louise Falconi. Harry was the beloved husband of the late Kathryn M. O’Hanlon (nee Beasley).
Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Mr. O’Hanlon graduated from New York University under the G.I. Bill. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. O’Hanlon was employed as a Senior Vice President for Fred S. James, Marsh & McLennan and Aon Corporation. After retiring, he taught business courses as an Adjunct Professor at Camden County College.
He loved playing tennis, spending time in the Bahamas and at the Jersey Shore and playing with his grandchildren. He starred in the field and running events for St. Agnes High School and The Police Athletic League in New York City.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 10:30 – 11:30 am at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:45 am. Interment with military honors at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
