On February 25, 2024 of Washington Twp. Age 84. Beloved husband of Janet (nee Cheesman). Devoted father of Gustav A. (Nancy), Anthony (Sandi) and the late Mark Ruggiero (Patricia). Loving grandfather of Alex, Mary Beth (Sean), Nancy (Jay), and Marie (Mike). Proud great-grandfather of 5.

Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside service Friday, March 8th 11:00 AM at the Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gustav’s memory may be made to The North-South Skirmish Association or The National Museum of the Marine Corps.

He always had a friendly way about him when he visited the refinery to help out with Foxboro troubles. Gus had a kind and gentle way about him.
