Gregory F. Hammer

On October 12, 2023 of Williamstown. Age 73. Gregory is survived by his loving family and friends.

Greg was an avid sports fan who played several sports. He had a special talent and love for tennis. He played for four years on the varsity tennis team at Glassboro State College (now Rowan University). Greg taught tennis for several years before beginning his career in education. He started his educational career at Camden County Technical School in Sicklerville, first teaching History and then, after taking additional coursework, he served as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant until 2018. Greg had a great sense of humor and he really enjoyed making others laugh. He loved being around other people. Perhaps Greg’s greatest gift was making friends and nourishing those friendships. He had a gift for finding a common bond and then molding a friendship around that bond. Once that friendship was established, most became friends for life. He will be sorely missed by all of them.

Gregory’s life will be celebrated Saturday, October 21^st from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp., with a time for sharing thoughts, memories, and love offered by family and friends at 10:30 AM.
