Anthony Stuempfig left a message on August 1, 2026:
I knew a side of Gregory that was very special. For many years he did the most beautiful French polishing on furniture that Victor had done equally beautiful restoration on for me. Many of the pieces he polished are now in museums like the Metropolitan Museum of Art. One of the last pieces we worked on together was a beautiful Boston pier table. It is now in the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. Gregory’s work on these 250 year old pieces of furniture will shine for another 250 years. I will always remember the years we worked together and am grateful for the friendship and humor we shared. It is sad that he didn’t have many more years on his place in Kentucky. He was really happy there. Best to be in a place you love when you pass on. All my condolences to Gregory’s family and friends.

Debbie Rich left a message on July 29, 2026:
I didn't know Greg but I know my sister loved him and she loved taking care of his home and cabin in Edmonton Ky. They became very good friend's and he became like family to her. I know she will be lost every Wednesday and sometimes on Thursday because she spent time with Greg and his special fur baby Maggie. RIP Greg!

So sorry to hear about Greg’s untimely passing. Whoever wrote the obituary was right on Greg was always out of his element living around here. He needed space to be Greg. He’s out there flying around with the Hawks. Watching over all of us. Rest in peace brother.
