Gilda Petrongolo

(nee Inglese) On December 15, 2023, of Williamstown, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at the age of 92.  Beloved wife of Joseph.  Devoted mother of Joseph, Jr. (Maria), John (Valerie), Jill Pagliaccetti (Gene), James (Wendy), Joanne Pinto (Michael), Jeff (Jackie), and Jerry (Keryn).  Loving grandmother of 24.  Proud great-grandmother of 26.  Dear sister of Frank Inglese and the late Michael, John, Rose White and Rita Morelli.

Born to Frank and Rose Inglese October 5, 1931, Gilda grew up with her brothers and sisters in the Philadelphia area.

With her husband Joe, they raised their seven children in South Philadelphia and the South Jersey. Gilda spent her years showering family and friends with love, humor and hospitality.  She was the center of every Sunday dinner. Cooking for her family and anyone who would show up.

Gilda and her husband Joe recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary, commemorating their marriage as they lived it for decades, surrounded by family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Tuesday 8:30 – 11:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, 176 Stagecoach Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08081.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 am.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
