Dear Family, Jerry was an Iconic figure at the DCMA IAC. A knowledgeable "can do" person. His energy was contagious. I admired him and learned allot from him. He was a wise, kind, and compassionate person. It was a blessing to know and work with him. Sincerely, Andrea McKeithan
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Gerry Taraschi (Gerard Taraschi) left a message on May 24, 2024:
My heart is saddened over the loss of Gerry, a friend & colleague as well as the father of many of the young men that I had the pleasure of coaching. We would quite often talk about history, sports, and family. The greatest tribute a person can receive is that of being remembered and Gerry will not only be remembered but also greatly missed. My condolences and prayers are with all of you.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband, dad. Pop pop and good friend. I haven't seen Jerry in many years, but what I do remember was that he was an awesome dancer,he was kind and he always seemed happy. From his facebook posts, I knew he was a devoted family man. He's counting his steps now in heaven. God bless him and those he has left behind. You are in my prayers.

I remember Gerry as always having a smile on his face. He would sub in my classroom sometimes and we would have "history" discussions. It was a pleasure to know him. You have my deepest condolences on his loss.

Our deepest sympathies to the entire Huckel family. From the countless family events, to the past 20 years of week-long extended family vacations down the shore each summer, Uncle Jerry always made our gatherings feel like home no matter where we were. He had an infectious laugh that always made you want to be around him. We will all deeply miss our Uncle Jerry.

Donna Piscielli left a message on May 23, 2024:
To Gerry's family, My sympathy goes out to each of you. It's devastating to lose your husband and father. My husband, Tony, who also worked with Gerry until his death in 2022 used to talk all the time about sports, NE Philly, and a million other things. We live in the same development and Tony would also stop and talk to Gerry when walking our dog. I work in the 9/10 Nurse's office, so I only really spoke to Gerry when he sent a student from Internal. He was a good person and will be missed. Justin, my heart reaches out to you and your family. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
