AMBROSIA, Geraldine F., “Gerry”, “Aunt Gerry”, “Zzie”, (nee Federic) On June 7, 2017, of Blackwood and formerly of Williamstown. Predeceased by her parents Mary and John Federici and sisters Eleanor Siracusa and Janet Dimitri. Beloved wife of the late Peter. Cherished aunt of Donna Marie Fanelle (Benjamin) who was her caregiver for many years, Mark Siracusa, Joseph Dimitri, Dana DiSipio, Glen Dimitri and the late Denise Magliocco (Alfonse). Dear step-mother of Sandra Reitz (George), Gail Eimer and Joyce Ricciardelli. Also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, especially Michelle and Jeffrey. Zzie will be especially missed by her devoted nieces and nephews Jacquie, Ben, Peter, Lisa, Alfonse, Adrian, Justin, Samantha, Lia, Anthony, Alexis, Natalie, Gianna, Ben, Taylor, Peter, Lauren, Elisabeth, Alfonse, Anthony, Chloe, Mac, Annelise and Madelaina. She leaves behind her wonderful friends Adeline Renzi, Mary Meme and Madeline Gargano. She will be terribly missed by her furry friends Kit, KiKi and Baby.
Gerry was employed at Carino Brothers in Williamstown for over 25 years. She was above all a great animal lover and cared for and nurtured any animal that she came in contact with. She also loved any time spent with her family and going to the casino. Gerry made the best meatballs around and to her delight came in second in the WIP meatball contest 10 years ago! In her younger days she loved to dance and go to the stock car races with her beloved Petie cheering on their car, number 026. She was a friend to all and loved by countless.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday 8:30-10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd. Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish/St. Mary’s RC Church, Williamstown. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown.
