Georgina M. Dorish
(nee Mantopoli) On February 6, 2024 of Washington Twp. Age 97. Beloved wife of the late Cyril G. Dorish. Devoted mother of Lynn Robin Osepchuk. Loving grandmother of Ryan Christopher Osepchuk. Dear sister of the late Rick Mantopoli (late wife Ruth) and the late Alfred Mantopoli. Loved by her niece Christina J. Civello (Scott Lee) and her great nephew Hunter D. Lee.
Georgina (went by ‘Jeanie’ to family and friends) was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked for Bell Telephone since she graduated from high school until her retirement. Jeanie was a very pleasant person who did well by everyone and was respected for being a hostess for many holiday and birthday celebrations for family and friends. Her delicious meals included Italian, Asian, and Ukrainian food. Jeanie was an avid collector of Carnival Glass, Blue Willow, and Milk Glass. She gave of herself selflessly to all including being a health care giver to her husband, mother, and mother-in-law at the same time. Then she was finally in her daughter’s well deserved care. Jeanie loved crepe myrtle trees, begonias, peace lilies, and Christmas cactuses. Her favorite color was blue as it reflected her peaceful nature. Jeanie was a wonderful mother who was encouraging saying, “You do what is best for you.” Her grandson loved her to pieces as they got along well and became movie buffs. Jeanie will be sadly missed by all including her niece, husband, and great nephew. Jeanie was and will always be loved and respected for being herself.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 10:30 AM. Interment Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Georgina’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Foundation.
