George V. Kaizar

On January 11, 2023, of Washington Twp. Age 59. Beloved father of Jennifer Kaizar. Loving grandfather of Michaela, Michael, Cadence, Rhiannon, and Genevieve. Dear brother of Michael Kaizar (Patrice), Christine Fitzpatrick (Robert), and Denise Kaizar. Loving son of the late George and Consilla (nee Leone) Kaizar. Loved by nieces and nephews.

George Kaizar was the oldest brother of 4 children. George performed his duties of son, big brother, father, and “Poppy” beyond any expectation. George was devoted to a life of serving others in many aspects. First, as a leader and confidant to his family. George always had a listening ear and managed to offer the best and most sound advice without judgment. Second, to his art students over his thirty years of teaching art in his successful art school. As a talented fine artist and mentor, thousands of individuals were inspired by his belief that one could do anything he set his mind to. Lastly, to his spirituality and commitment to the wonders of life. George would literally “never hurt a fly”, nor any soul, and was always in awe of the beauty of nature. He fought hard for everything he believed in and never gave up on any challenges. Anyone that met him immediately loved him. He had an infectious laugh, an amazing fun and creative spirit, and a will to live that served him well through his battle with Posterior Cortical Atrophy. George was an awesome volleyball player, artist, musician and most of all, “Poppy” to his grandchildren. He loved Wildwood in the summertime, vegetarian food, playing games, and changing rules. He will be missed and mourned by so many. One can only inspire to become a person like him.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Saturday 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Following the visitation there will be a time of sharing thoughts, memories, prayers, and love offered by family and friends.
