On May 1, 2024 of Washington Twp. Age 74. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Allen). Devoted father of Christopher Bittner (Kathleen), Scott Bittner, and Andrew Bittner (Christina). Loving grandfather of Christopher, Owen, Bryce, Blair, and Blake. Dear brother of Robert Bittner. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

George and his brother Bob grew up together having fond memories of their childhood in Boundbrook, NJ. They vacationed with their family in Wildwood, NJ and that tradition has stayed alive with the Bittner family throughout the years. He met his wife Donna while in college. They enjoyed spending time with family and vacationing down the shore. George and Donna were married for 51 years. George took pride in his position working for Gloucester Twp. Public School District for 36 years as their transportation director. His best loved hobbies included spending time with his grandchildren, walking his beloved dogs Max, Chase, and Zoey, lake fishing, watching the Phillies play, and going down the shore.

George’s life will be honored and remembered privately by his family.
