George A. Serago, on December 15, 2020, of Cheltenham, PA. Age 63. Devoted father of Devin and Greg Serago. Predeceased by his mother, Nancy Zimmermann (nee Boylan) and Domenic Serago, loving son of Alvin Zimmermann. Dear brother of Doreen Khebzou (Zaki), Jody Serago (Christy), Michael Serago (Maria), and James Coady (Jeannie), Step-sisters Holly Kmenta, Gina (Joe) O’Malley, Krystle (Marc) Panepinto, Step-brothers, Chris Zimmermann (Carol) and David Zimmermann (Dawn). He is also survived by Renee Fanty (nee Messina) and many loving nieces and nephews.
George enjoyed life and bringing light to others. His generosity and kindness stood out to all those around him. He had an infectious laugh and loved to joke. He always loved to have fun and as such was always the life of the party.
George found delight in spending time with his family, friends and loved ones. He always took pleasure and was amused by the little things in life that made him happy. He never went anywhere empty handed and always wanted to bring his happiness and playful spirit to others. He enjoyed fishing, playing paintball, telling jokes, music, jogging,watching sports, cooking and grilling with his loved ones and eating out at Crabbie’s.
Above all else, George truly cherished his children and strived to be an amazing dad for them growing up. He took pleasure in being involved in their lives however possible. He never missed a sport coaching opportunity or game and wanted to be involved wherever he could. George’s children were the light of his life and he took great pride in their successes and well being.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 2:00-3:30 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 3:30 PM.
