Gaye Lynn Boschetto
(nee Held) Passed away peacefully, on October 23, 2026, in Washington Twp. She was 93 years old. Beloved wife of the late Andrew. Devoted mother of Scott Boschetto, Victoria Pilla (Michael), Lee Ann Boschetto, Gregory Boschetto (Lori), and the late Todd Boschetto. Loving grandmother of Victoria (Patrick), Andrew, and Spencer.
Gaye Lynne was born in Columbus, Ohio, but spent much of her childhood on the West Coast, living in Arizona and Long Beach, California, with her mother and family. The West Coast always held a special place in her heart.
Growing up, Gaye Lynne had a passion for modeling, which blossomed into a successful career, with her beauty and elegance featured in magazines. It was through modeling that she eventually met the love of her life, Andrew. The two met at the shoe store where Andrew worked when she came in to purchase shoes for a modeling job. She never failed to tell everyone the story of how she knew he was the one, proudly saying, “I knew I was going to marry him the second I laid eyes on him!”. Together, they built a beautiful life, welcoming five children and living in several different places before settling in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, where they raised their family. In later years, they made Washington Township their home.
Gaye Lynne worked for an insurance company before retiring early to focus on raising her children and helping Andrew with his candle business. As the years went on, she was blessed with three grandchildren, whom she adored and gave the world to.
She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, especially watching her favorite Western movies, putting together puzzles that she would turn into wall art, and enjoying her potato chips with a Diet Coke. Even as she grew older, Gaye Lynne never failed to impress those around her with her intelligence, quick wit, sense of humor, and remarkable agility.
Above all, Gaye Lynne will be remembered for her vibrant personality, sharp mind, and the endless love she had for her family. She always made it known that she wanted her loved ones to celebrate the beautiful life she lived rather than dwell on sadness. While she will be missed beyond words, we find comfort in knowing that nothing would make her happier than seeing those she loved, continue to live their lives to the fullest.
Family and friends are welcome to attend her viewing 10:30 am – 12:00 pm Saturday, October 31st at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 12:00 pm.
