Gaeton Veteri

On April 17, 2023, of Washington Twp.  Age 80.  Beloved husband of Jean (nee Rossi).  Devoted father of Dominic Veteri (Michelle), Anthony Veteri, Lisa Veteri (Dan).  Loving step-father of C.J. DeLeo (Lisa), Denise DeLeo (Mike), and Mark DeLeo (Denise).  Loving grandfather of Briana, Dominic (Theresa), Carly, Mark, Nicholas, Alexa, Julianna, and Jaclyn.  Loving step-grandfather of Austin, Avarie, Darian, and Cameron.  Proud great-grandfather of Sophia and Ariella.  Dear brother of Eileen Abbuzzese, and the late Rosemarie Caramandi, Dennis, Louis, and Gina Veteri.  Loved by nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Gaeton was born and raised in South Philadelphia, and moved to South Jersey in the 1960’s.  He proudly served in the US Air Force for 5 years.  He was an entrepreneur at this young age and ran retail businesses in Philadelphia and South Jersey for over 50 years until he retired.  Gaeton was an avid golfer, attending many tournaments around the country.  His card playing is legendary in his pinochle club.  He was a consummate family man who treasured his children and grandchildren.  He will always be remembered for his hardworking ethic and his kind, gentle ways.  He was well loved by all.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday 10:15 AM-12:00 PM at the Church of The Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp.  Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM.  Interment, Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
