On December 17, 2023 of Washington Twp. Age 78. Devoted father of Gaeton M. Pascale (Nancy Lutz) and Paul Pascale. Loving grandfather of Gaeton and Glenn. Dear brother of Rosemarie Raia. Survived by his loving stepchildren, Kevin and Laura, and his step grandchildren, Kevin, and Christopher.
Everyone has their favorite memories of my dad. He was the eternal tinkerer and fix it guy. Always modifying something or seeing the potential in bringing a broken item back to life. He loved playing baseball. But not watching it.
His passions were for cars, sharks, guns, electronics and family. But his life was his children and grandchildren. Those who knew him, know his bond with his grandsons is magical and powerful. I called them his little cubs.
Gaeton Danté would always be heard saying “grandpop will be back” when grandpop went home. And eyes lit up when grandpop came to see us. Glenn is definitely a grandpop cub. They were partners in crime. Many times “conspiring” to get daddy to do something, order pizza or watch a certain show. Mischief was ALWAYS afoot.
Later in his life, he expressed regret and remorse for those he may have hurt and those he was unfortunate to lose. He wanted those people to know that he always wanted to say sorry and wished he could change those paths. Also, to those folks he wanted them and all to know how much he loves you and never stops thinking of you. He felt blessed to have the perfect sister and a brother in law that, let’s face it u can take in law out of there. My dad saw uncle George as his big brother.
My dad was larger than life for a pudgy italian. He seemed like he would live forever. God decided his work was done here. And called him home to Nanny and Grandpop to become an angel.
But his spirit remains in our hearts. We pray he always watches over his little cubs. And gives us the tinkering itch when things need fixing. In jesus’name, we pray for his entrance to heaven. Thank you.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Peace/St. Mary’s Church, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial 12:45 PM.
