Frank N. DeStefano, Sr.
Of Williamstown, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loving family on September 9, 2026, at the age of 82. Frank is the beloved husband of Mary H. (nee Perseo). He is the devoted father of Dina Bourquin-Julia and her husband Ralph and Frank N. DeStefano, Jr. (Tina Condo). Loving grandfather of Gabriella, Nicholas, Francesca and Vincent. He is the dear brother of Cassie Bruno and brother-in-law of Carmen Perseo. He is loved by his nieces and nephews.
Frank proudly served his country for eight years in the National Guard, attaining the rank of Sergeant. Following his military service, he spent 27 years as a dedicated ironworker with Local 405 before continuing his career with the Construction department of Verizon in his beloved South Philly. A passionate sports fan, he loved cheering on all of his Philadelphia teams.
Known for his wonderful sense of humor, Frank took great joy in making people laugh. He was hardworking, devoted, and deeply proud of his family. He especially treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren, and he held a special place in his heart for his beloved granddog, Kingsley.
While Frank achieved much throughout his life, his proudest accomplishment was marrying his childhood sweetheart, Mary, and building a life together. He was an extraordinary husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle who placed his family at the center of his world.
Rest easy, Dad. You worked hard, loved deeply, and gave us a lifetime of memories. The family you built remains your greatest legacy, and we will carry your love with us always.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday 10:00-11:30 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 32 Carroll Ave, Williamstown. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM.
