Frank “Mike” Sitarski

Frank “Mike” Sitarski, born May 19, 1953, passed away on September 8, 2023, at age 70.

His life was full and blessed with loved ones and laughter. He spent the last 10 years enjoying retirement, doing lots of home improvement projects for all of us, listening to steel drum music and drinking rum & coke in the hot tub, losing to his granddaughter in checkers, fishing, traveling to tropical islands with his wife, and making us all laugh and feel safe and loved.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years and best friend Karen, daughter Dawn (Ryan), son David (Ashley), granddaughter Abigail, mother Julia, sisters Marcy and Linda, in-laws Patricia, Paul, Michael (Stephanie), several nieces and nephews, and many good friends we should all be so lucky to have.

His family finds peace in knowing that every day of his life, he felt the full power of how well-loved he was by everyone who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, please enjoy a tropical drink and do everything you can to create happy memories with your loved ones.

I worked with Frank in Vineland NJ for several years while we're both stationed as employees of FSIS, USDA and he was always cheerful and even after we both retired, we kept in touch and talked about old friends and families. I miss him and our weekly chat. A few months before he passed away, he told me that he thanked God for waking to another day. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was such a joy to be around, enjoying his upbeat conversations, whether in person or on Facebook. He just had a way to make you feel part of no matter how far away the distance - whether in time or place. He is certainly one of my favorite cousin and I will always cherish the fond memories we had with family - growing up and in Buttonwood. Sending Prayers and Love, Kathy
