Frank Thomas, on July 2, 2014, of Williamstown. Age 89. Beloved husband of the late Joyce E. (nee Boekenkamp). Devoted father of Joyce Gibson (Chuck). Dear uncle of Debbie Thomas-Aldridge. Special friend of Violet Hill. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Frank served as a Merchant Marine for the USCG working supply ships from 1943 through 1945. Then he worked as a ship’s mechanic for Atlantic Richfield Oil Company / Arco until retiring in 1982. He then worked at Bob’s Garage in Sewell, NJ for 20 years.
He enjoyed old cars, especially Chevrolet Corvairs. He will be missed by his many friends at Freefall Adventures in Williamstown and the old car hobby.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Old cars are welcome. Interment private.
