Francis Peter Muth, “Frank”, age 71 of Atco passed suddenly on May 24, 2026. Beloved son of Nicholas F and Martha Muth (nee Strittmatter). Dear brother of Nicholas J (Veronica), James and long term caregiver Theresa Mbah, Martha Jane Pritchard (the late Bill), Robert (Leda) Margaret Muth Kirkby (Alan), and Mary Ellen Muth (Michael Sherfey). Loved by many nieces and nephews, and grandniece and nephews.
Frank was a 1972 graduate of Williamstown High School. A talented mechanic and an exceptional welder, he owned and operated Frank’s On Site Welding, repairing heavy equipment on construction sites throughout Florida and the Caribbean. Upon relocating to N.J. in 2008, he took pride in his work as a groundskeeper/mechanic for Scotland Run Golf Club and Winslow Township School District, and later as a custodian for Atlas Rehabilitation. After suffering a devastating stroke in 2021, he made great strides in his rehabilitation. He was a regular at the Adler Aphasia support groups. He will be missed by fellow residents and staff at The Fountains at Atco Assisted Living where he resided, his Friends of Bill spiritual group and his lifelong motorcycle enthusiast friends; always there to share a good laugh.
Frank was both stubborn and generous to a fault, humble, reserved, and very resourceful. He had a deep faith, a wry sense of humor and was most content when he was working on anything mechanical, be it heavy equipment, or small engine. He worked on a prototype battery operated bicycle years before E- bikes. He cherished riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle in his early years. He was truly his happiest when he was fishing. “ Going down the pond” where he grew up, and any lake, backwater, bay or ocean in between was a worthy spot to cast a line.
Family and friends are welcome to attend his visitation on what would have been his 72nd birthday, July 22. 2026 for visitation from 2-3PM and service following at 3 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd, Washington Twp.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven”
