Flora Ann M. Kennedy (nee Ferrara) on April 18, 2023, of Washington Twp. Age 74. Beloved wife of William K. Kennedy. Devoted mother of William K. II, Courtney A. (Christopher Penney) and Nicholas P. (Sumra Ahmad). Loving grandmother “Nanny” of William and Sophie. Dear sister of the late Francis. She is also survived by her best friend “sister”, Patricia Rutland and many dear friends.
Flora was born in South Philadelphia and graduated from St Maria Goretti High School in 1966. In 1981, Flora and her husband, Bill, moved to Washington Township, NJ and have been active in her community ever since. Flora loved the theatre, New York City, fashion, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was so proud of her Italian heritage, made the best meatballs and “gravy”, and lived for nights enjoying wine and laughs with her friends. She is predeceased by her mother, Dora (Iannacone) and her father, Nicholas Ferrara.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday 8:15 – 10:15 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at the Church of The Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Flora to the Alzheimer’s Association.
