I have known Elsie since we were about 4 years old. We grew up 2 houses apart. We played together and even had our own secret call (Eeee Oc...keeee!! Which was our way of asking....... can you come out and play. We did everything together, made gardens in my sandbox, played Tag, hide n' seek, caught lightning bugs, walked along the creek, caught frogs, built a fort. Then there was the neighborhood baseball games. Dottie was a long ball hitter; Elsie was a good hitter too! And Sugie....well...........she was 4 years younger than us. Let's help Sugie get a hit and run to first base! The school bus stopped in front of their home. We went to grade school and then on to high school together. Elsie was very popular and sometime later, she met Bill who won her heart. What a great couple and beautiful family they made together. We will all miss Elsie! We are so happy for Elsie to be reunited with her daughter Cheryl and Bill once again. God Bless your beautiful family.

I’ve been holding off writing this in the hopes that I was having a really bad dream. We were born a month apart and have been close ever since. I’ll miss your smile, your cantankerous ways, your BLT’s, but most of all I will miss the Elsie I know and love. The Elsie with spunk and spirit, the Elsie whose love for family is boundless, the Elsie who sought out the best in everyone. You enjoy eternity with Bill and give him my best wishes. I love you girl, always have - always will!!!
