Elsie M. Stoud
(nee Hare) On September 4, 2023 of Washington Twp. Age 81. Beloved wife of the late William J. Stoud, Jr. Devoted mother of Dorie Stoud-Kulinski, William J. Stoud, III (LeeAnne), and Wendy LaRocca (John). Loving grandmother of Shannon (Dakota), Victoria (Philip), Abigayle, Bobby, John-John, Liam, Declan, and Ella. Proud great-grandmother of Zion Thomas. Dear sister of Dorothy Kieffer, Henrietta Rotelle, Debra Detweiler (Ray), and the late Cheryl Ann Hare. Loved by many nieces, nephews, dear family, and friends.
Elsie could not have made it through her three battles with breast cancer without the care and support of her beloved physicians at MD Anderson, Dr. Michele Fantazzio and Dr. Kay Yoon Flannery; whom referred to her as a warrior.
This woman was unbelievable. Elsie lit up every room she walked into. Her energy was electric. If you knew her, then you were lucky enough to call her Mom Mom. Baking and cooking was her love language. Mom Mom’s pound cake was second to none. She always needed a fresh glass of Diet Pepsi. If you know, you know. She had a green thumb and loved her plants and flowers. She was a fashionista. She loved her animal print outfits and sparkly slippers. She was a diva. She always had to have her hair, make-up and nails done. Mom Mom adored her Phillies. She never missed watching a game. She loved her family and friends with her entire heart. Mom Mom touched everyone’s lives.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday, September 22nd 10:30 – 12:00 PM at SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM. Interment Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elsie’s memory may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center at www.mdanderson.org.
