Eleanor Marie Gliwa was born Eleanor Marie Parker on March 2, 1935. She was the daughter of Franklin and Elizabeth Parker. She also had a brother Franklin Parker, who she was very close with and has also passed away.
As a child she attended St. Bartholum grammar school and graduated from Little Flower High School. After high school, she worked in a bank and later married Bernard Gliwa and had a child Donna Marie. They loved to travel and had many memories of all their adventures. They lived in Philadelphia most of their lives and later moved to New Jersey. Her daughter Donna Marie married Robert Wodarczyk and had two children Lauren and Robert, whom she loved dearly and was able to attend Lauren’s wedding to James Sell.
Her interests included dancing, sewing, crocheting and knitting. She also belonged to a crafters group who made beautiful crafts to sell at the church for their bazaar.
Eleanor will always be missed and loved by her family and friends, but know she is at peace now and looking down on us.
