Edward R. Bonsall, Sr.
On April 17, 2024 of Washington Twp., formerly of Lindenwold. Age 82. Beloved husband of the late Helen. Devoted father of Edward Bonsall, Jr., Marianne Bonsall, and James Bonsall. Loving grandfather of Brett and Matthew. Dear brother of Gerald Bonsall (Carol), Rita Soper, and the late Earl Bonsall, Jr., and Thomas Bonsall. Loved by nieces and nephews.
Ed married the love of his life on May 15, 1965. He and Helen raised a family, traveled, and made a lot of wonderful memories for 57+ years. He was family man and prolific storyteller, of mostly bad jokes. He was a coach and a natural athlete. A die-hard Phillies fan to the end and a lover of all sports. But most of all he cherished spending time with his family. A proud grandfather and an even prouder father. He will be greatly missed. Who loves you, Dad?
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday 10:45-11:45 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s memory may be made to Veterans Helping Veterans, PO Box 337, Woodbury, NJ 08096.
