Dorothy M. Bohl
(nee Mohn) On May 5, 2022 of Washington Twp. Age 92. Beloved wife of the late Norman Busch and the late Edward Bohl. Devoted mother of Steven Bohl, Cheryll Miller (Chris), Edward Bohl (Linda), and Virginia Gage (Jeff). Loving grandmother of Christopher (April), Jennifer (Jamie), Aaron (Christina), Laurie (Nathan), Jessica (Jimmy), Jeff, Sierra (Stan), Noah, Emily, and Sam. Proud great-grandmother of 13. Dear sister of Allen Mohn, Jr., the late Margaret Gibson, and the late Richard Mohn. Cherished sister in law of Harry Dolbow and Kenny Dolbow.
Dot was born and raised in South Philly. She graduated from South Philly Girls High School and went to work for Bell Tell. Her full life included 2 husbands, 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In 1969 Dot and family moved to Washington Twp, NJ , where she lived across from the high school, in the White House on Ganttown Road for 40+ years. Even with her full time life of wife and mother, Dot participated in many volunteer activities. Dot helped organize the first girls softball league of Washington Township and coached for multiple years. She was active in the PTA and was also a long term member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church where she helped with many of the church activities. Dot was the true matriarch of her family, well loved and will be remembered for her spitfire commentary, humor and of course her stories.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:45 AM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 212 N. Main St., Glassboro.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church at the above address.
