Dorothy K. “Pat” Maglio
(nee Smith), of Washington Twp., formerly of Philadelphia, died peacefully on June 14, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones. Age 91. Beloved wife of the late Michael. Devoted mother of Patricia Maglio, Kathleen Frangos (Paul), Michael Maglio, Christine Ceraso (Vincent), Thomas Maglio, Gerald Maglio (Lisette), Rita Kidd (Bryant) and the late Rosemary Maglio. Loving grandmother of 13. Proud great-grandmother of 4. Dear sister of Jeanne Trasatti (the late Edward), Agnes DiLanzo (the late Louis), Joseph Smith (Grace), Nancy Caruso (Santo) and Gerald Smith (Rita) and Michael Smith (Marcy). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

On June 14, we lost the light of our lives. Our mom was a shining example of a life well-lived and a person well-loved. She touched so many and left an indelible mark on all who knew her, most especially, her children and grandchildren. She will be forever loved and eternally in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday 8:30 – 10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

Pat was a loving, caring person who always had a smile on her face. Even before our children joined their lives in matrimony our families had already become one. She always assured me that she loved my daughter Lisette as her own and she knew I love her son Jerry as my own. Pat will be sadly missed but will always keep a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace dear Pat! :sparkling_heart:

I am so sorry for your loss. It does not get easier, but the memories will always be with you and will be a source of comfort. I will keep your family in my prayers.

I am so sorry to read about Mom's passing. I'll always remember her as a classy lady who never had an unkind word to say about anyone. We are so saddened to hear of your loss. We are honored and blessed to have known your mother. She was truly a blessing to all who knew her. I am sorry for your loss. Your mom is with God now. She lived a long life. I know we want our loved ones with us here on earth, but she is in heaven now. Hold on to each other and the memories. Stayed blessed and you and your family are in my prayers.

I am deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Pat had a loving spirit that had a way of shining through to everyone she came in contact with. She was one of the stongest women I have ever had the honor of knowing. She had a contagious smile that embrassed you and made you feel like part of her family. That is the Pat I will choose to remember. Take compfort that her kind heartedness, caring nature and strength will live on in the hearts of those left behind. Now she will be seeping with the angels.
