Donald G. Riggio, of Williamstown, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, at the age of 86.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret Mary (nee Reale), and his parents Romeo Joseph and Lillian (nee Giannattasio) Riggio.

Donald is survived by his loving children: Michael Riggio (Maria), Donald Riggio, Jr., and Danielle Riggio-Armano (John).  Loving grandfather of Jason (Mue), Tara (Scott), Jessica, Jake, Brianna (Secilio), Anthony, Gabriella, Jessie, Lilly, Isabella, and Gianna.  He was the proud great-grandfather of Priscilla, Angelina, Ava, Isabella, Cullen, Lailah, Nico, and Selena.  He is also survived by his dear brother Jerry Riggio.

Donald was a man who loved his family first and foremost. His love for his children and grandchildren was strong and unconditional, and his family was always at the heart of his life.

Donald enjoyed the simple things that brought him happiness. He loved watching his favorite sports and was an avid golfer. In his younger years, he especially enjoyed spending time on his boat with friends, fishing and making memories along the way.

He will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the friendships he cherished, and the moments that made life meaningful to him. His memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 32 Caroll Avenue, Williamstown.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:15 am.  Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
