Donald E. Taylor, Sr.

On February 19, 2024, of Washington Twp. Age 87. Beloved husband of Joan E. (nee Epright). Devoted father of Debra Vitzthum (John), Donald Taylor, Jr., and Daniel Taylor (Denise). Loving grandfather of Jared, Kaitlyn, Blake, Alexander, Rachel, and Jonathan. Dear brother of the late Doris Taylor and Robert Taylor.

Don grew up in South Philadelphia and graduated from Bok High School. He married Joan and started a loving family. He proudly served in both the Civil Air Patrol and the Untied States Air Force Reserves. Don worked for Bell Telephone and Bell Atlantic for over 30 years before retiring. Don was an avid aviator and aircraft owner. His other passion was for railroads and trains, both real and model. A loyal friend and devoted father, Don enjoyed time with his family, eating good seafood, and loved being an active member of the Patcong Valley Model Railroad.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 9:30-11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. At 11:00 AM there will be a time sharing thoughts, memories, prayers, and love offered by family and friends.
