nee Garrity on September 27, 2009, of Sea Isle City and Berlin, NJ. Age 75. Beloved wife of Robert E. Devoted mother of Rev. Robert E. Hughes, Bernadette Underwood Matthew, and Nancy Naulty Bill. Loving grandmother of Kaitlin, Blake, Erin, Grace and Seamus. Survived by a brother, Thomas Mary Garrity, a sister, Bernadette James Pollock, and many nieces and nephews.

Dolores was a high school teacher for more than thirty-five years and was active in the Catholic Church in South Jersey in a variety of ways.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 7:00 – 9:00 PM and Friday 8:45-9:45 AM at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment following the Mass at All Saints Cemetery, Franklinville. The family requests that NO flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dolores’ memory may be made to Paul VI High School c/o the Garrity-Hughes Scholarship Fund, 901 Hopkins Rd., Ste. B, Haddonfield, NJ 08033.

Dear Bob, Father Robert, Bernadette, Nancy, and Family, It is with deepest sorrow to learn of Dolores's passing. She was one of the kindest and most gentle hearted persons I have ever been blessed to know. Dolores would rather smile and chuckle rather than to get angry with anyone. I hold such fond memories of her as music director at Holy Rosary Church. Her expertise and knowledge was beyond contemplation. She was so devout and dedicated to sing and conduct her praises to our Lord, that our choir reflected her example. I'll always treasure the memories of the Choir Christmas Parties held at your home, along with her famous seafood casserole. I'll always cherish her memory and thank God for knowing such a lovely, sweet natured women. May Our Lord forever bless her for the many good deeds she bestowed on others and may she be rewarded forever. Rest in perfect peace, my friend, for a job so very well done.
