Dolores B. Barrett,
(nee Milligan) On November 1, 2015 of Warminster, PA. Age 95. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Devoted mother of Thomas J. (Catherine), Joseph (Anna), Dolores M. Barrett, Susan Stuber, Robert (Dolores) and the late John M. and Elizabeth Brenneisen. Loving grandmother of 12. Proud great grandmother of 22. Dear sister of Edward Milligan and Mary Mangano.
Dolores was raised during the depression, so she understood value of a dollar. Her kids were the luckiest in the world and she always found a way to ensure that the family had a yearly vacation.
She loved her HOT tea and soup and was an avid reader, and loved to travel. Everyone has several afghan covers in their closet crocheted by her. Dolores always kept a warm and spotless home, even with seven kids around. Mom’s cooking was the best! She said seventy years of practice was the answer. She loved the warm weather, so when Dad retired they moved to Florida and stayed for ten years. She also loved her old sayings. Several favorites: Been there…Done that! You can get used to hanging if you hang long enough!
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 9:15 – 10:45 AM at Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 500 Greentree Rd., Glassboro NJ 08028. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
