Debbie was a wonderful woman, teacher and friend. I will always remember how much she cared for all of her students, but especially those who were a challenge for others. She bent over backwards to make sure they received the best education possible and were treated fairly. I know there are many, many people who grew up to be successful in a large part because of her true belief in them. She will be greatly missed.

Where do I begin. Mrs. Pracilio has made a tremendous impact on our family. She had both my daughters in her class at Whitman school. My fifth-grader had the honor of knowing her for several years. My Briana will miss her terribly. My husband has been battling cancer for years. Mrs. Pracilio was battling her own but always put my daughters feelings and concerns ahead of her own. What she did for my daughter to help her through was amazing and this was when my husband was at his worst. My Briana said Mrs. Pracilio will always have a special place in my heart. She understood what I was going through and I love her with all my heart. My Kerri had the honor of knowing her for years because of her big sis. She had Mrs. Pracilio this year. Thank you for everything you have done for my daughters. We love you and will never ever forget you. You will always be an angel to us. Xo
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I had the honor of working in Mrs . Pracillio's classroom all last year with her and words can't begin to express just how caring, kind and thoughtful I found her to be. She was always worried about everybody else and how she could help them. I will always remember her as an inspiration of strength and Grace! I'll miss her very much ! My thoughts, prayers and sympathy are with her family and friends. Elaine Palmiero
Donna Mikus McGough left a message on April 11, 2014:
Debbie touched everyone she met in a special way. I had the pleasure of working with her at Whitman, and she was such an inspiration. Her smile, her laughter and her love of children and learning, often left me in awe. Every child was special to her, and she made sure that each one knew that. I know that she knew how much she was loved by the students too. There aren't many people in our lives that make a lasting impression, but she certainly did that for those of us fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. A kind and gentle soul, always putting the needs of others before her own. I will miss you but find peace in knowing that you are the brightest star in the sky and the beauiful rainbow that appears after the storm. - Donna McGough

I worked with Debbie several times over the years as a special educator at Whitman Elementary School. She was always so easy to work with, considerate and respectful. Her patience with her students, even the most challenging ones, was enviable. She was a valued and highly respected colleague and I will treasure my memories of her. I pray God's peace for her family. Cordially, Shari Hervold, Special Education Teacher (retired)

Debbie was my third grade teacher at St. Nicholas of Tolentine School and was the guiding light who allowed me to see that my passion as an adult would be in education. She was so dynamic and truly loved every child, compassionate in her teaching and welcoming to all who entered her presence. I had the fortunate opportunity to work with Debbie in Washington Township years later. She was an inspriation to all and will always be remembered. She left a very special mark on all those who had the fortunate opportunity to have her as a teacher and a friend. Condolences and prayers during this difficult time. ~Lisa DiGrazio~

So saddened to hear of the passing of Deborah Pracilio. My husband and I had the opportunity to meet her a few times at family events (her daughter Alysha married our nephew Joe) and she was always such a nice lady as was her husband and entire family.
