Debbie was a teacher at Whitman Elementary School for many years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Tuesday 6:00 – 9:00 pm and Wednesday 9:15 – 10:15 am at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, 176 Stagecoach Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am. Entombment New St. Mary’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie’s memory may be made to the Deborah Pracilio Scholarship Fund, c/o Whitman Elementary School, 827 Whitman School Drive, Turnersville, NJ 08012. Arrangements are under the care of the Egizi Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.

Debbie was a wonderful woman, teacher and friend. I will always remember how much she cared for all of her students, but especially those who were a challenge for others. She bent over backwards to make sure they received the best education possible and were treated fairly. I know there are many, many people who grew up to be successful in a large part because of her true belief in them. She will be greatly missed.

Where do I begin. Mrs. Pracilio has made a tremendous impact on our family. She had both my daughters in her class at Whitman school. My fifth-grader had the honor of knowing her for several years. My Briana will miss her terribly. My husband has been battling cancer for years. Mrs. Pracilio was battling her own but always put my daughters feelings and concerns ahead of her own. What she did for my daughter to help her through was amazing and this was when my husband was at his worst. My Briana said Mrs. Pracilio will always have a special place in my heart. She understood what I was going through and I love her with all my heart. My Kerri had the honor of knowing her for years because of her big sis. She had Mrs. Pracilio this year. Thank you for everything you have done for my daughters. We love you and will never ever forget you. You will always be an angel to us. Xo

Pracillio's classroom all last year with her and words can't begin to express just how caring, kind and thoughtful I found her to be. Debbie touched everyone she met in a special way. I had the pleasure of working with her at Whitman, and she was such an inspiration. Her smile, her laughter and her love of children and learning, often left me in awe. Every child was special to her, and she made sure that each one knew that. I know that she knew how much she was loved by the students too. There aren't many people in our lives that make a lasting impression, but she certainly did that for those of us fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. A kind and gentle soul, always putting the needs of others before her own. I will miss you but find peace in knowing that you are the brightest star in the sky and the beauiful rainbow that appears after the storm.
