David J. Odorisio
Of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away on September 12, 2026, at age 64 after a long and courageous battle with posterior cortical atrophy (PCA).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Concetta “Connie” and Rocco Odorisio and his older brother Joseph Odorisio.
Dave is survived by Terri, his devoted wife of 33 years, his sister Roxanne Bennett (Mark), niece Holly Strobl (Hans), great nephews Nathan and Joshua Strobl, Aunt Joan Odorisio, several cousins, dear friends and his beloved cat Louie.
Outgoing and social by nature, Dave enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He could go to a party barely knowing anyone and have acquired new friends by the end. In his youth he enjoyed crabbing with his father and cousin Bob, celebrating holidays with family, and playing in the annual Thanksgiving football game with friends. Dave loved sports and was a life-long Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Phillies fan. Years ago, he and his brother Joe attended opening day in Green Bay where they played the Eagles. Dave joked that he nearly got hives as he watched his number one and number two NFL teams play each other. He also enjoyed many memorable vacations with Terri, where they shared some of their happiest times. Dave enjoyed going out to dinner with friends and the occasional casino trip. Dave also had a love of nature and animals, something he shared with Terri.
Dave grew up in Barrington, NJ and attended Haddon Heights High School. He then went to Penn State University, graduating with an accounting degree. He held Accounting, Budgeting and Financial Analyst positions at RCA, Provident Mutual Life Insurance Company, and The American College, respectively.
Although Dave’s life was cut short, he packed a lot of living into his 64 years. He’ll be remembered as kind, thoughtful, loyal, generous, hardworking, and above all, funny. He’ll be deeply missed but there’s comfort knowing he’s finally free from the ravages of PCA, and now in a better place with God and those he loved that went before him.
Thank you to the care team at Artis-Evesham, where Dave resided for the past 29 months. Each of you took such wonderful care of Dave, treating him with kindness, dignity and respect, as if he were one of your own family members.
Thank you also to friends and family who provided much needed support during Dave’s challenging journey, particularly Dot and Mike, Jill and Will, Holly and Pia. I’ll be forever grateful.
Family and friends are welcome to attend his visitation on Saturday, September 26th from 10:00 – 11:30 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service at 11:30 with a luncheon directly following at Luna Rossa Biagio Lamberti Restaurant, 3210 Rte. 42, Turnersville.
