Daniel “Danny” Patrick McCann, 22, from Washington Township, passed away suddenly on October 1, 2017 in Los Angeles, CA. Born July 10, 1995, he was the beloved son of Patrick and Patricia (Twomey) McCann. Loving brother of Martin (Kelley) and Andrew McCann. Cherished grandson of his sweet maternal grandmother Helen M. Twomey. Dear nephew of his Aunt Cathy Timoney, Aunt Mary Twomey, Aunt Helen A. Twomey, Uncle Jim and Aunt Joanne Twomey, Uncle Vince and Kelli Twomey and the deceased Uncle Gene Timoney, Uncle Martin (Bud) McCann, Aunt Anne Tiedeken, and deceased grandparents James J. Twomey, Catherine McCann and Martin L. McCann. Daniel will be greatly missed by his many loving cousins, close friends, and his dog “Nelly”.
Daniel grew up in Washington Township and had plans of pursuing a degree at UCLA. He had a passion for helping others through health and fitness training, and loved working as a personal trainer with his clients at LA Fitness in Somerdale and Playa Del Rey. Daniel’s favorite activity was spending time with his dear friend Laura and his family, especially his two brothers who he loved more than anything. He was the most caring, generous, and hard-working individual. He will always be remembered for his radiant smile that could light up a room.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 7:00-9:00 PM and Tuesday 8:15-9:15 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment, St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.

Danny I can't believe that you are gone. It breaks my heart how much you struggled in your young adult life. I wish there was something more I could of done to help you. Unfortunately this disease does not work like this and you keep your pain and suffering to yourself. You were so kind and selfless and I will never forget how much you helped me when I was sick. There will never be a day that goes by that I will not think of you. I want you to know I will be there for your family, especially your mom. She is heartbroken and loved you so. You are now in the arms of the Angels. Rest in peace my sweet boy. I love you.

Danny. Our Hearts are Broken but thru faith we know you are in the Arms of the Angels. We watched you grow as a Baby to a kind loveing handsome young man we will never forget you Danny Love you and Miss you. Uncle Jim and Aunt Joanne.

Danny was always such a good genuine guy and cared about his appearance... Halloween last year we went out as the Trailor park boys. Danny’s character had a goat tee. He refused to wear the goat tee.. so we had to compromise and keep a little bit of the beard lol Too many good memories.... He was always helping people out and I’m sure he will be looking over us all... he comes from a great family... my prayers go out to the McCann family and everyone who loved Danny... he will be more than missed.. We lost a great person but gained a Guardian angel
