Daniel J. Cirino
On October 19th 2022 at 92. Beloved husband of Frances (nee Pitrone) for 63 years. Born in South Philadelphia on 14 October 1930 to the late Jerry & Rose. Dan & Fran resided in Holiday City, Williamstown, NJ for the past 30 years. Devoted Father of Roseann Baron (Michael), Daniel J. Cirino Jr (Janice) and Nancy Witherow (Joseph). Loving Grandfather of Matthew, Steven, Robert, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Joseph & Daniel III. Dear brother to Joseph Cirino (Marie) & Jerry Cirino (Joy Kantor).
Dan graduated from Ben Franklin high school in 1948, specializing in aeronautics. Dan was a proud Korean War Veteran, serving his country from 1947-1952. Dan spent his early career as a clothing salesman/buyer at the refined men’s store, Boyd’s of Philadelphia. He then, crossed the bridge, to work as the New Car Manager of Holman Lincoln Mercury of Maple Shade where he had much success.
Dan was the patriarch of his family and loved spending time with them. In retirement he enjoyed cooking a nice Italian dinner, watching his Phillies play, listening to Frank Sinatra, gardening, and spending a lot of time at the Jersey shore. Dan had a beautiful artistic ability; he painted dozens of landscapes and created several model airplanes in his spare time. Dan touched all who knew him and always had a solution to a problem that came his way.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 7:00-9:00 PM and Tuesday 10:00-11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Williamstown. Interment with military salute at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, Williamstown. In lieu of flowers, donations in Daniel’s memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
