In Loving Memory of Dallas Borger
Dallas Borger (Jump), a man of unwavering selflessness, generosity, and wit, passed away surrounded by his beloved family. A true pillar of strength, he worked tirelessly as an Ironworker for Local 401, spending the majority of his career with Roma Steel-Central Metals providing for his family with unmatched dedication. Known for his inventive mind, Dallas created practical wonders like the infamous “Dal Pal,” showcasing his creativity and resourcefulness.
A lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan—a fitting tribute to his own name—Dallas was a man who cherished life’s simple joys. He took immense pride in his beautiful home, treating it as a work of art and devoting himself to its upkeep with meticulous care. From playing horseshoes to making Ocean City, NJ, his home away from home—where he was affectionately known as the “Mayor of OC”—he lived life fully and with love. His boundless humor lit up every room, and his jokes, though often repeated, brought endless smiles.
Above all, Dallas’s greatest pride was his family. He was the biggest fan of his three grandsons, Travis, Chad, and Kameron, attending every soccer game with a heart full of pride. His devotion to them, his daughters Staci and Suzanne, and his beloved chickadee, Kathleen, was unparalleled.
Dallas’s wit, generosity, and extraordinary attention to detail were hallmarks of his life. He gave freely to family, friends, and strangers alike, never hesitating to lend a helping hand. His love, laughter, and wisdom leave a legacy that will forever inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Dallas Borger will be missed terribly, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who loved him. We love you, Dal. Always and forever in our hearts.
