Dale E. Conville Sr. passed peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Innova
Health & Rehab Facility in Deptford, NJ, of Washington Township, Age 77. His final
days were spent surrounded by his beloved family. He leaves his loving wife of 54 years Elizabeth “Betty”nee Polivka; his daughter Deborah L. and son-in-law John Stillman; his son Dale E. Conville Jr. and daughter-in-law Debra Chew; his son Grant M. Conville; his daughter Susan L. Van Horn;
his daughter Melanie A. and son-in-law Ronald Knott.
grandfather of 10; great-grandfather of 2. Predeceased by his parents Tillie H Morris
and Edward Conville, one brother and one sister. He is survived by his brother William.

Dale was an Air Force veteran. He was a sales representative for Champion Spark Plug Company for many years and was currently employed at NJ Transit working out of the Washington Township garage. Dale was a Masonic member. His life-long passion was golf, he was an excellent golfer and his leisure time was spent on one of the many scenic golf courses in PA and NJ.

A graveside service at the Gloucester County Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery will be held on Thursday, October 22, at 2:00 pm.

this prayer gos out to Betty and family I've known Dale for four years now, and I'm very sad to have been told of his passing just a few days ago, I sat by his bed side and talked with him he was watching tiger woods play in the presidents cup and we had a good conversation dale always had a kind word and a smile for me.He was a great neighbor and friend we prayed together and I,beleive that God has a great golfing partner now! may our lord jesus christ keep him always,and may all his days be filled with the love and peace of christ,may God bless his Children, and their familys and remember that jesus loves us all and we must forgive to be forgiven may God bless his wife Betty,and untill we meet again God bless you Chuck.

Today, October 15th, 2010, has been a year since you passed away. I miss you dad and your always on my mind, in my heart, my soul, my thoughts, my prayers and in my dreams. My son is always asking about his grandpa. That's the hardest question or reply to have to give to your child. It breaks my heart. Dominick, Jr. remembers his 3rd birthday and you standing there by the pool with your hat on watching us swim while we were all laughing. It's amazing what he remembers. Dominick, Jr. takes after his mommy with a memory like that. Vanna misses you too but she knows that you are in heaven at peace and watching over us. It hasn't gotten easier with time. I've been told even as the years go by it won't get easier. It feels just like it was yesterday that I got the call that you had to leave us. I love you dad and miss you soooooo much.
