On September 21, 2020, of Washington Twp. Age 60. Beloved daughter of Daniel L Moy (Annie) and Marchetta N. Sam. Loving sister of Patricia J Hui (Leo), Christopher R. Moy (Darlene Taylor), Bradley P. Moy (Stephanie), Raymond Moy and Jacque Holliday (Sean). Proud aunt of Patrick Moy (Michelle), Connor S. Hui, and the late Ashley N. Hui. Dear great-aunt of Jacob C. Moy and (godson) Nathan P. Moy. Also survived by her beloved dog, Toby.
Cindy was born in Philadelphia on December 12, 1959. She was the second child of Daniel Moy and Marchetta Sam (nee Sze). Cindy grew up in Philadelphia, Oahu, Cinnaminson and Berwyn in a close knit family. It is with this family centered upbringing that Cindy got her sense of humor and kindness. Her family meant the world to her and she showed that in everything she did. Her kindness did not stop there. It would not be unusual to see Cindy treat friends, neighbors and co-workers as if they were family. She was so kind to everyone she met. You couldn’t help but be drawn to her.
Her humor was beyond compare. She could put a smile on your face with a joke, sarcastic comment, facial expression or just a look. Laughing is what we will remember most about her. She found joy and humor in everything she did and that would put you in a good mood to just be around her.
Cindy went to Allegheny Health (now Drexel Health) and graduated with a bachelors degree. She went on to work at Hahnemann Hospital where she worked for nearly thirty years. She enjoyed the work and the people and often spoke of them as a second family.
She loved family gatherings where she could be around the people she loved, going out with her friends and spending time at home with family. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and watching movies. One of her greatest accomplishments was being an amazing aunt and great aunt. And oh how they loved her!! She was at every school event and milestone; never missed one thing.
She will be dearly missed. We will remember her as being funny, loving, caring and kind.
We love you, Cindy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 am. Interment at Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.
