Constance A. Alburger (nee Atkinson), on January 11, 2014, of Washington Twp. Age 98. Beloved wife of the late Ralph. Devoted mother of June Murphy (Joseph) and John Alburger, MD (Joyce). Devoted grandmother of John, Jeffrey, Jason, Scott, April and Susan. Dear great grandmother of Samantha and Jacob. She was predeceased by her parents Francis and Edith (nee Watson) Atkinson and her sister Marjorie Lang.
Connie was born on March 18, 1915, in Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated Pierce Business College in 1935 and continued on to work for Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, Philadelphia, PA as an accountant in the Actuarial Department. Connie was a loving and giving person who brought smiles to all who knew her. Her family meant the world to her and she will be in their hearts forever. Connie was a member of the Pitman United Methodist Church. She was in the Ellen Usinger Class and sang with the Prime Time Singers.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday 10:00 – 11:30 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral Service 11:30 am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.
