On July 1, 2017 of Washington Twp. Age 41. Beloved son of Paul Diamonti, Kathy Gray (nee McGlynn) and her husband Bob. Dear brother of Angela Weiss and her husband Dave and Nicholas Diamonti. Loving grandson of Patrick and Gloria Diamonti. Loving fiancé of Shannon Dougherty. Loving uncle of Italia. Also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Chris always wanted to help everyone, he would give you the shirt off his back and the last dollar in his pocket. Wherever we lived he was always helping out the neighbors fixing things for them or something as simple as taking in their garbage cans. He was extremely proud of his father and the fact that he was part of a military family. He would tell everyone about the good times and the struggles of being a military family. He was his grandfathers pride and joy. He spent many summers in New York with his grandparents building tree houses out of scrap wood and enjoying his grandmothers Italian cooking which she always made especially for Chris. He never strayed far from his mother, he would tell everyone that he was a momma’s boy and he was proud of it. Chris adored his big sister Angela, they fought like brothers and sisters do but in the end they always protected each other, Angela would say that’s my little brother no matter how old they were. One of the best times he had was when his father took him to Barcelona, Spain. He also enjoyed going to Disneyworld with his father and brother Nick. Nick was very proud of Chris. Shannon was the love of his life. He knew he could depend on her for anything and she would always be there for him. His mom has so many things around the house that Chris made that she will always have to remember him by. One of his mothers great memories is of the time she bought a bed of flowers to plant and did not get around to plant them. She woke up on Mother’s day morning and all the flowers had been planted in the flower beds around the house the night before by Chris and Shannon. That was the best day other than the day that Chris was born on a cold January night.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 2:00-4:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home 119
Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 4:00 PM. Interment private.
