On March 2, 2025, of Washington Twp. Age 48. Devoted father of Arya Rans. Beloved son of Michael and Susan (nee McAlister) Rans. Dear brother of Alison Rans. Proud uncle of Logan Rans. Also survived by Arya’s loving mother Stacey Angelillo.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 6:00 – 7:30 pm at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. followed by a time of sharing thoughts, memories, prayers and love offered by family and friends.

Chris and I went all through school together, and I am shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. He was a genuinely good guy. We were never close, but his kindness and authenticity left an impression on me. My deepest sympathies to his friends and family. My heart breaks for you all and I will keep you in my thoughts.

My deepest condolences to Chris's daughter, family, and friends. Chris had a huge heart that went to everyone he knew. While I was going through a rough time he opened his door and spare room to me. While time passed, his kindness never did. Crans isn't gone for me but lives on in all of us and especially in Arya. Thank you my friend. Rest easy.

I am so sorry. Heartbreaking. Christopher Kracken was the best. A kind loving warm friendly encouraging hopeful funny man. He always made sure I was taken care of at PJRD and even brought me home a Southern Discomfort shirt from an out of the country bout. He truly loved people. Prayers for comfort and rest during this time of mourning. God bless.

Working alongside Chris aka Crans at Bed Bath & Beyond in our younger years is a highlight for us both. While I’m struggling for words now, we want to send so much love and light to Arya and the rest of Chris’ family.

In memory of Christopher Michael Rans, Joey lit a candle

I was only able to hang out with Chris a few times at Penn Jersey, but burned in my memory was banked track game we were able to play as teammates. He showed me and all the newer peeps how it's done, and was just an awesome, friendly teammate. He made us feel like we could do anything. I'm sorry I didn't get to know him better, and hope his loved ones are doing the best they can. Peace be with you all.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of Chris's family. I am so sorry for his loss, taken too soon. RIP Chris.

Chris was a kind man I had the pleasure of becoming friends with while he was a Ref for Shore Points Roller Derby. He was funny and had a smile that warmed your soul. My thoughts and prayers go to Stacy and Arya, as well as the rest of his loved ones.
