Christine Ellick (nee Forte), on January 1, 2022, of Mantua. Age 79. Beloved wife of the late George H. Ellick. Devoted mother of David Roche (Betsy), Richard Sanitate (Stacey), Jackie Kohl (Thomas), and the late Mary Sanitate Thurston. Loving grandmother of Joshua, Davey, Hannah, Gabriella, Cassandra, Courtney, Nicholas, Tommy, and Rachel. Proud great-grandmother of Eliana, Raelynn, Amelia, Aiden, Jonah, Jackson, Liam, and Mia. Dear sister of Alexis George.
Mom had three passions in life, her family, her dogs and the lord. Mom always spent time hosting events so that the family could get together. She knew that was the one way to keep us connected. She loved her kids and was always the positive driving force to their successes. She loved and was proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and would do anything for each of them. One of her favorite things was spending time with them on camping trips to Tennessee & Lancaster. Mom loved watching her Eagles, especially texting her thoughts on how they could do better, she was a true fan!
Mom also loved the animals and would always oversee and feed the neighborhood pets. She loved her dogs and would adopt, feed and protect them to the fullest. Mom was an avid doner to the ASCPA with the goal of saving animals.
Mom loved the lord and would share her feelings respectfully by leaving scripture readings around in public places. Her mission was to help others that may be in need and felt a simple positive message may help them.
Mom, many will miss you. You were and will always be an icon to our family. Your legacy is unmatched and we love you always! Rest Easy Mom!
