Dear Lord, please ensure that we receive Small Signal Graces from Mom, just as during her life, Mom received delightful ones, including the one from her father and Saint Peter.

Mom's parents, Mr. & Mrs. Spadano, brought guidance, endless wit, and great joy to our daily lives. GPop survived 3 different cancers--simuntaneously, and GMom lived to be a few months shy of age 100, and is 95 in this photo!

Final photo of Mom while out on the town, taken only one week before Christmas 2023. It's a comfort to know that all night long, Mom laughed and smiled.

Mom loved life, and her lush flower garden was one measure of her passion. Her unique hardscaping and softscaping features were forged daily. Over the course of 40+ years at her home, every large and small flowering tree and shrub was planted by Mom. Music was another passion, as Mom regularly stepped out onto restaurant dance floors for her smooth Cha Cha moves. In her early 70's, Mom joined me in taking several fine arts college courses, including 3 courses in glassworking. She would rise early each day to create her intricate micro mosaic custom originals for family, friends, and new clients. Mom's copper signed fused glass art originals from 2" x 2" to 16 x 16" looked like museum quality works of art, and added significant joy to all. Mom was proudly named after her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Christina Iocci Spadano. Mom was honored to later realize she was born on her namesake Grandmom Christina's wedding day: April 23rd! On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Mom lived to be exactly 3 months shy of her 90th birthday: 4/23/24. Mom was loved, admired, and celebrated for her admirable work ethic, sense of humor, generosity, and zest for life.
