Christina Lynn Sturgill
On December 19, 2025, of Franklinville. Age 47. Devoted mother of Tylor Rettershofer and Dylan Rettershofer. Beloved daughter of Donald Sturgill (the late Kathy) and Lesley (nee Downing) Onda (Ed). Cherished granddaughter of Pauline Downing (the late David) and the late Joe and Marge Sturgill. Dear sister of Nicole Palmieri (Tony), D.J. Sturgill (Nicole), Brian Onda (Jess) and Lauren Lannon (Rob). Loved by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Christina passed away peacefully surrounded by family leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will be cherished forever.
Christina had a deep love for the beach, where she found peace in the sound of the waves and joy in the sunshine. This past summer was especially meaningful as she spent treasured time at her beach house with her two sons, Tylor and Dylan – the true loves of her life. Those days filled with family, friends, warmth, and ocean breezes will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
She was a devoted dog mom to her beloved Winter and Koda, who brought her comfort, companionship, and endless joy.
Throughout her life, Christina held many jobs, each reflecting her strong work ethic and caring nature. Of all her roles, her favorite was working at Kavanaugh’s, where she made many cherished friendships that became like family to her.
Christina will be remembered for her kind heart, her strength, and her contagious laughter that could light up any room. Her spirit lives on in the laughter of her sons, and the love of her many friends and family.
Christina’s love will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
