Catherine “Ina” Villari
(nee Gugliandolo). On June 16, 2024, of Washington Twp. Age 95. Beloved wife of the late Anthony “Trigger” Villari. Devoted mother of Josephine Rabuck (Joseph), Anna Villari, Joseph Villari. Loving grandmother of Brian (Heather), Joseph, Tyler, Matthew (Bridget), and Michael. Cherished great grandmother of Lucia, Henry, and Selena. Dear sister of Maria Villari, and Lilla Scaltrito. Also survived by her sister-in-law Helen Villari.
Ina came to the US from Italy in 1959 to marry her love, Tony. Together they ran Wayne’s Log Cabin in Brooklawn for over 40 years. She devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved to cook and to share her recipes, although never had a “measurement” or written recipe. She would say “just put a little of this and a little of that until it tastes good”. The best was the Feast of the Seven Fishes, which we continue to do on Christmas Eve. These traditions will be with us for generations to come. She enjoyed the casinos, especially the slot machines. She loved sitting on the deck at Clancy’s by the Sea in Ocean City, watching the people on the boardwalk, with an occasional Kahlua and cream. We were blessed to have her with us for so many years having so many beautiful memories.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday, June 28th 10:15 -11:45 AM at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit Parish, 17 Earlington Ave., Mullica Hill. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. Entombment, Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
In honor of Catherine’s life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, we would encourage any donations to the Alzheimer’s Association
