(nee Lapiska) On January 9, 2026, of Washington Twp. Age 89. Beloved wife of Lawrence J. Devoted mother of Gary (Theresa), Tracy Richardson and Mary Russo (Joseph). Loving grandmother of William (Angela), Christine, Kyle (Selena), Ryan and Joseph. Proud great-grandmother of Madelyn, Camilla, Sianna, Brennan and Cameron. Dear sister of the late John, Peter and Ann. Loved by nieces and nephews.
Catherine graduated From Camden High School 1954 and was crowned “Polka Queen” as she was an excellent dancer. She met the love of her life Larry on the Wildwood Beach and would have celebrated their 68th Wedding Anniversary on May 11th this year.
They moved from Fairview and bought their dream home in 1968 in Washington Township. Their downstairs bar was a place for celebrations and family,
Easter was always an event at Caash and Larry’s where dancing, food, cheers and love was shared by all who walked down those steps.
Mom worked at The Department of Aging for many years and of course was in charge of the picnics and events making sure that the Seniors day was a fun and memorable
experience.
She loved Her Eagles and Phillies and always had snacks and cocktails so friends and family could enjoy the game. Her Famous Crabs were always a hit and a guarentee to her that all children, spouses and grandkids would come together to enjoy.
Most of all she loved her family with all of her heart. Mom cherished the summer vacations in Ocean City when they could all be together and make memories that would last a lifetime.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Monday January 19th, 9:00-11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment, Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
