Catherine M. Perkins

(nee McCormick) On May 2, 2018 of Blackwood. Age 68. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Perkins. Devoted mother of Brian Perkins (Susan), Wayne Perkins (Angela) and Dina Perkins (Charlie). Loving grandmother of L.J., Amanda, Austin, and Sarah. Proud great-grandmother of Sophia. Dear sister of Rita Paul, Thomas McCormick and the late Joanne Doyle. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Dear sister in-law Patsy Perkins.

Catherine M. Perkins October 21, 1949 – May 2, 2018 Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Cassie/Cathy pursued a career in hair dressing and kept the neighborhood ladies looking good. In her teens she met and married the love of her life, Larry, and they were blessed with three children. Cathy was an amazing Mom who really enjoyed being a parent. Her creative and fun ideas for entertaining and educating her children were enviable; she was the “fun Mom”. Cathy was blessed to live long enough to see her four grandchildren and her great granddaughter born. Cathy loved cats and always had at least one. She is leaving a sad “Kitty” behind as she goes to her eternal reward. Cathy was beautiful inside and out. She was the life of the the party and will be greatly missed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday 7:00-9:00 pm and Tuesday 9:00-10:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 10:00 am. Entombment, All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
