Carlo DiMattesa
On September 9, 2017 of Washington Twp. Age 91. Beloved husband of Leonilda (nee Gramigna). Devoted father of Carl R. and Janice DiMattesa and the late Roseanne DiMattesa. Loving grandfather of Carl and Sheri. Proud great-grandfather of Courtney and Cameron.
Born and raised in Camden, New Jersey. Carlo married his lifetime love at age 21. Succeeding in a professional career with American Dredging, starting out as a Deckhand and working his way up through the ranks to become Captain. After leaving American Dredge he became a primary owner of 3 C’s Auto Sales and was instrumental in day to day activities of C&C Displays. During his retirement, he spent his time creating memories with his wife and family. He also found joy in his free time taking trips to the casinos, dancing, and being in the company of many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Wednesday 6:00-8:00 PM followed by his funeral service 8:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carlo’s memory may be made to Spina Bifida Assn., 1600 Wilson Blvd, Suite 800, Arlington, VA 22209.
