Bonnie J. Fowler
(nee Robinson) On May 19, 2026 of Washington Twp. Age 84. Beloved wife of the late Richard. Devoted mother of Lisa Brydges (James), Cyndi Brodnyan (Charles), and Todd Fowler. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Jessica, Samantha, Jason, and Jenna. Proud great-grandmother of Blakely. Dear sister of Bill Yahrling, Marie Bilbow, Gail Capasso, the late Eric Yahrling, Kirk Yahrling, Brett Yahrling, and John S. Robinson Jr. Loved by nieces and nephews.
Bonnie married her high school sweetheart, Richard in 1965 and spent decades of her life as a homemaker raising three children – and multiple cats, dogs and cockatiels!
Prior to marriage, Bonnie attended nursing school at Jefferson College of Nursing. She was devoted to God and her family and loved each immeasurably.
Bonnie was kind and caring and always opened her home to anyone in need. Once her children were old enough, Bonnie volunteered with the Washington Township Ambulance Association, worked as a Special Police Officer with the Washington Township Police Department, and taught First Aid classes.
For as long as her health allowed, Bonnie attended Cross Keys United Methodist Church and led the greeting card committee utilizing her love of calligraphy and desire to help others to send love and prayers to those in need.
In her spare time, Bonnie enjoyed reading, word games and crocheting – including prayer blankets for the Church. She was an avid Eagles fan and could be heard yelling at the television every Sunday; many slippers needed to be retrieved from the back of the television after being thrown by Bonnie!! She had such a special bond with her dog Lucee – they were inseparable; Bonnie rarely had a meal of any kind that Lucy did not share. Anyone who knew Bonnie would know how much pride she took in having beautiful nails and her trademark pink streaked hair – not a strand of gray after over 80 years!
Bonnie will be missed terribly but there is solace in the fact that she may be absent from her body, but she is present with the Lord.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, May 30th, 9:00-11:00am at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Road Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00am. Interment at Cross Keys United Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown.
