Uncle Bernie you were one of the best people I’ve have even known. I have only great memories of you and aunt Jeanie growing up as a kid. Our families although not related we are family. I know how proud you are of your son’s. And what a great job you and aunt Jeanie did.
I know you are in heaven with my dad looking down at us. Having a lot a laughs as you both always did. We love you Uncle Bernie and aunt Jeanie
Bernie, Michelle, Danny, Jordan and Stefan, as you know, we didn't have the pleasure of knowing your beloved father (or you mother) but we do know and love each of you dearly. We also know the pain and suffering that you've all endured over the last few years, trying to keep up with caring for your loved ones. Your commitment and dedication to your parents should be an inspiration to all of us, I know it is for me personally. Your parents are finally at peace once again, but this time for eternity. They are not gone, just starting a new life together somewhere else, where one day, we will all be. God bless.
Bernie & John, we are deeply sorry for the loss of your father. Our sincerest condolences and prayers to you and your family.
Bernie, John and the Kitzinger Family, please accept my sincere condolences. Working for your father, during my career on the Police Department, was the most rewarding time. I looked up to him as a father figure, special friend and a true mentor. He and your mother treated me like family. I'll always cherish our memories together and I know he is at peace with his one true love. God bless you, Bernie!
We are so very sorry for your loss.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
We are so very sorry for your loss.
We are so very sorry for your loss.
Such a wonderful love story, I hope me and my wife have the same longevity relationship as well and when the train of life stops at our station, we will be there waiting for each other.
My sincere condolences to the Kitzinger Family for their loss.
I worked with "Bernie" in the Philadelphia Police Department, he was an outstanding officer, supervisor, gentleman. and father.
It was always a pleasure to be in his company.
Surely he is in Heaven, God Bless Him!

Bernard and John, I am really sorry for your loss. I worked with your dad in Ethics Accountability Division in the early 80s with Inspector Andy Hantwerker. He was always proud of his family. Praying for all of you.
To Johnny K, We are all so sorry on the passing of your father. May his extreme, wonderful, and fantastic memories ease you and your loved ones, in this time of loss. I wish I could be at the funeral and am trying everything to change my court schedule and
commitments. We love and support you and our family is always here for you Danny, and the other family we have met. Do not be shy and call. And remember, you are your fathers son with his name, always do the right thing never to shame it. He was so proud of you as a a police officer, F.B.I. Agent, S.S.A., and now as primarily in Charge of the Attorney General's Office. Accomplishments he was wondered and amazed at. Love.

I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Bernie. I was fortunate to work with him in the Special Investigations Unit of the Philadelphia Police Department. He was a true gentleman, always willing to extend a helping hand. I consider it such a privilege to have known and worked with a remarkable individual.
I extend my sympathies and prayers in this time of grief.

WE HAPPEN TO MEET. REST IN PEACE?
One of my many fond memories of Bernie is how he was a true partner with his wife Jean. Back in the 60’s and 70’s there weren’t too many husbands that cooked and cleaned.
He was a true gentleman, protector to all, and a loving husband and father. Bernie, you will be missed dearly, rest in peace my friend.
RIP Big brother, always by my side. Miss you
