Brent Williams left a message on January 5, 2021:
Bernie Croce was my baby sitter when I was a very young boy. She also babysat my younger brother Brian. Bernie never had any children of her own, and she would often remark about how she thought of us as being like her sons. I love her very much and I know that she lives on in the eternal life of God. I miss you Bernie and will always love you.
Michaelene Mossbrucker left a message on April 28, 2020:
Dearest Dom, We were so deeply saddened to learn of our beautiful Bernie’s passing. I am so grateful that Bernie was able to visit and have lunch with Mom Josie, Maureen Christ, and me last summer. We had such a great visit, catching up on things while pouring over family and prayer group photos with Bernie. Our family, the Hendersons, have known and loved Bernie deeply for most of our lives. She blessed us in so many ways - through her wonderful care of our sons. Brent and Brian, her friendship and hospitality, as well as through her faith and her prayers. Since their early childhood, Brent and Brian called her “our Bernie”. They still do. We feel deeply for you in your loss and we thank God that you were by her side, loving and caring for her as you did. We pray that the love of Christ will comfort you and that His promises to the faithful will give you hope and strength as you grieve her loss. With much love, Bob, Micki, Brent and Brian

Bernie was one of God's children and He has taken her home. I am glad I had the privilege of knowing her. She had a ready smile and a laugh that made you want to laugh with her. Bernie will be missed by many for a long time. My sympathy goes to Dominic and to her sister. You had a special person in your life, but you already know that. Take care, Enid
