Barbara R. Walls, 80, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away on January 2, 2024. She was born in Hendersonville, NC on February 9, 1943. She moved to Washington Township, NJ, where she resided for over 45 years. She recently moved to Goose Creek, South Carolina.
She is survived by her loving partner of 52 years, Diana E. Ward; children Marjorie A. Renick (Tim) and John Walls (Christine); grandchildren Megan Walls, Collen Nieminski (Joseph), and Brianna Fasolini (Matthew); great-grandchildren Lilah Fasolini, Little Joey Nieminski, and Walter Nieminski. She was preceded by Graham Nieminski; sisters Pamela Lawson (Jack Frasier), Betty Vail (Jesse), and Theresa Risley (Dean).
She served in the U.S. Army Corp and was a devout supporter of the Women’s Memorial in Washington, D.C. She ventured into the automobile business for over 40 years as a Parts Manager and Parts and Service Director. She was one of the first women to enter this field in the mid 1960’s. She became a life member of the Washington Township Ambulance and Rescue Association where she served as President and Secretary on the Board of Directors. She was a member of the American Legion Post 521 for many years where she served as Vice Commander and Secretary.
Family and friends are invited to drive in procession at 10:45 AM to accompany Barbara to Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.
